Set up Direct Debit at reception when your child starts their first lesson. The first payment is taken when they start, then on the same date each month.

If we need to cancel a lesson, we’ll email you and adjust your Direct Debit to exclude that lesson. You won’t pay for lessons we cancel.

• You can also request cancellation by speaking to a member of staff at reception or by using the online cancellation form.

30 minutes. This includes 25 minutes of swimming time. The teacher uses 5 minutes to collect children, take the register, and return them to parents at the end.

Arrive 10 minutes early. Help your child change into their swimwear and swim cap. Take them to poolside where the teacher will collect them and take the register. You can watch from the viewing area. At the end, collect your child from poolside.

Yes. We provide a colour-coded swim cap for each level. This keeps hair out of their face during lessons and helps maintain pool cleanliness.

Yes. They must remove them when not needed for safety reasons. If your child has a medical condition requiring goggles at all times, bring a doctor’s letter to reception so we can record it.

Yes, watch from the viewing area. You cannot take photographs or videos – this protects all children’s privacy.

Log into the GoLearn online portal anytime to see your child’s progress. Teachers update this after each lesson. You can also speak to the teacher at the end of lessons.

When your child completes all skills for their level, they’ll receive a certificate and badge. We’ll move them to the next level group automatically.

Collect them from reception. Certificates are included in your monthly fee at no extra cost, but badges must be purchased.

Children can start the Rainbow programme from age 3. We also offer baby swimming from 6 weeks and pre-school swimming from age 2.

Yes. Level 1 starts with complete beginners. If your child is very nervous, our baby or pre-school classes with a parent might be a better starting point.

• We welcome children with disabilities and additional needs. Our instructors can adapt activities for different needs. Children must be able to follow instructions and participate in groups of up to 12.

We don’t currently offer specific SEND sessions. Our inclusive group classes have up to 12 swimmers per level. Children need to be able to take instruction and be independent in the group setting.

Learner pools are kept at 30-31°C. Main pools are 28-29°C. These temperatures are suitable for swimming lessons.

Various times during weekdays, weekends and school holidays. Available times vary by centre. We’ll discuss options when we contact you after enrolment.

If you miss a lesson, you cannot get a refund or make-up lesson. If we cancel a lesson, we adjust your Direct Debit automatically.

Contact reception to request a change. We’ll move your child when a space becomes available at your preferred time.
