I'm new to your booking system. What should I do to get started?
If you've never used our facilities before (Pay as you go):
- Register here and select your leisure centre
- Register your details (name, email, date of birth)
- Select “No, I’m a new customer“
- Check your email to set up your password
- Log in and start booking

- Check your welcome email for your 7-digit Membership ID (this is different from your card number)
- Register [ here ] and select your leisure centre
- Enter your details and select “I have a Member ID“
- Enter your Membership ID when prompted
- Set up your password via email
- Log in and start booking
What's my Membership ID and where do I find it?
Your Membership ID is a 7-digit number sent to you when you first registered as a member. You can find it in your welcome email.
Note: this is different from the number on your membership card.
How do I make an activity booking?
After logging in, use the search block to select your preferred center, activity, date, and time.
Is there a payment required for booking?
For members, the payment will be zero if the booking is included in your package. Once the booking is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email. For users looking for Pay and Play the cost will vary depending on activity [Pay and Play prices link]
Can I book multiple activities at once?
Yes! When you select a time slot, click ‘Add to Basket‘ to keep browsing and add more activities. Once you’re ready, go to your basket and click ‘Checkout‘ to confirm all your bookings.
Do I need to register my attendance when I arrive?
Yes! You must register your attendance for all activities (booked and non-booked) by scanning your membership card or fob at reception, kiosk, or fast-track turnstile immediately before your session.
What's your cancellation policy?
- Cancel at least 2 hours before your activity starts
- Members: Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges and the removal of booking rights
- Pay and Play: Refunds are only available for cancellations made 24+ hours in advance
Will I get a refund if I cancel?
- Members: No refund needed as most activities are included in your membership
- Pay and Play customers: Refunds are available only if you cancel 24+ hours before the activity starts
Can I do everything on the app that I can do on the website?
Yes! The app offers the same functionality as the website—book activities, manage your bookings, and cancel sessions—all from your smartphone or tablet.
Is the app free?
Yes, the app is completely free to download and use. Search for ‘Oldham Active’ in the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), or visit our app page for download links.
