
Aqua Circuit
Aqua circuit is similar to land-based circuits, but the exercises are completed in water, with varying exercises at different stations in the shallow and deep ends of the pool.
You can choose to go all around or just stay at one end of the pool.
Suitable for ages 11+. 8 years+ can participate if they can swim 10 metres.

Are there any swimming requirements to take part in Aqua Circuit?
The class is open to everyone aged 11 and over, with no specific swimming distance required, just general water confidence. However, children aged 8–10 can join if they can swim at least 10 metres for shallow end participation, or 50 metres if they wish to take part in deep end activities.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, booking in advance is recommended as spaces are limited. You can reserve your place online, through the Oldham Active app, or at the centre reception.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring a swimming costume, towel, and a water bottle to stay hydrated during the class. You’re also welcome to wear a swimming cap and aqua shoes for added comfort and grip, though these are optional. All other equipment used in the session, such as floats and resistance gear, will be provided by the centre.
What age group is this class suitable for?
Aqua Circuit is designed for those aged 11 and over. Children aged 8–10 are welcome if they meet the swimming ability requirements and follow the centre’s supervision policy.
