Oldham Seals is an inclusive competitive swimming club founded in 1910. We train 3 times a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). We have a number of events throughout the year including Club Championships, friendly gala’s, local league gala’s, licensed swim meets, social events and fundraising events. 

Who’s if for

We welcome swimmers of all ages, if you are in the learn to swim programme, we would expect the swimmer to be at least Rainbow Level 5 (Blue Hat) or equivalent for those in Private Swim Lessons. All swimmers will have a trial first so that our qualified coaches can assess whether they are ready for club swimming and if they are which squad would be best for them. Swimmers are encouraged to compete; however there is no pressure to do so, and we support swimmers who only train.
